audioguru Posted December 25, 2006 Report Share Posted December 25, 2006 Hi Daisy,You forgot to say how much current your 12V light uses.Here is a slow LED fader cricuit that can have an offset voltage and an additional power transistor added to drive a light bulb. daisy8 Posted December 25, 2006 Author Report Share Posted December 25, 2006 Hey Audio, thanksThis is basically what I was trying to do with my volt meter (see the slow power up thread) I started this thread because I thought I might be able to use some kind of light fader to slowly activate my volt meter.If I can get your circuit to generate 12 volts and then use a transistor to hold the power at 12 volts it should work.I understand now what you were talking about in the previous thread about opamps.
