dwangyahoo
I saw some "high end" portable generator using inverters to produce the AC (Honda has the EU1000i http://www.hondapowerequipment.com/ModelDetail.asp?ModelName=eu1000i). For these type of generators, I presume they will have a DC generator.a) What is the nominal DC voltage?b) How does the throttle control mechanism work?c) Is it a good assumption that if I tap the DC directly but leave the AC inverter intact, the throttle and control mechanisms will still work if there is a varying DC load? I'm assuming that to keep a constant 110 vac, the nominal vdc must also be relatively consistent.
