Laying out a strip board

Hi

I would like to know if there is a shareware program that i could use to layout the components of a circuit on
a computer and print out the actual layout of where to place the components because a schematic doesnt show where to place them in real life. I hope you know what I'm trying to say.
After I start my project I find I need to go around things I've already soldered I would like to plan it first

One was called stip-board magic. Company went belly up years ago, but program may still be available on the web.

You can use LochMaster, StripBoardMagic or StripBoard Designer for this job!

You might also use Eagle light. Look up CadSoft.de and download version 4.12. There are no restrictions on parts or functions. The only restriction is the maximum board size of 160X100mm.

However it is free and includes a fairly good autorouter as well.

When I started reading electronic magazines "Everyday Electronics" and "Practical Wireless" many years ago it used to be called VERO-BOARD
