t-bone Posted May 18, 2007 Report Share Posted May 18, 2007 hello, i am a beginner to high voltage electronics.i want to build a dazer(9v dc to 2000v dc converter) circuit.i purchased an audio output transformer.it has two terminals on the primary side and four terminals on the secondary.the circuit needs only four terminals 2 terminals for input and 2 terminals on the output.so,please tell me how to connect it and how to check the transformer is ok. audioguru Posted May 18, 2007 Report Share Posted May 18, 2007 You don't know anything about your transformer.I also don't know anything about your transformer.Look at the datasheet for it from its manufacturer. It will have a picture that shows which pin is which. It will also say what is its impedance ratio that determines how much or how little it will stepup the voltage in a dazer circuit.
