Remove the Sell/Buy electronics - Job offer/requests section?

It always seems to be abused by spammers advertising their cheap Chinese crap rather than genuine hobbyists who want to get rid of their old test equipment or surplus components.

Maybe if you placed a rule on the system that doen't allow you to post there if you have say under 10 posts?

On second thought may be it doesn't matter if this section gets abused if it diverts spam from other areas?

There again, I'm not sure it does, the high voltage section always seems to get most of the spam for some reason, maybe it gets more Google hits than the other sections?

I think a posting rule on minimum required posts will be very effective, say 10 posts required for Sell/Buy and 5 posts for HV. Spammers dont have the time to post 5 times to get one advert out. Maybe it is worth seeing how this is managed in other forums too.

I'm not the administrator, my power is limited to a few sections so I couldn't do that even if I wanted to.

Spam seems to come in phases, often we don't have any but sometimes the forum becomes filled with it.
