pjd Posted January 23, 2011 Report Share Posted January 23, 2011 Hi all,I've just built this kit with which i'd like to control a 12v car fan (the type that plugs into the car'scigarette lighter) ....Could i use the same 12v dc supply which powers the circuit to power the fan, justusing the relay in series to switch the fan on & off ?Or will that short out something ?Thanks folks ! pjd Posted January 23, 2011 Author Report Share Posted January 23, 2011 Hi Hero, thanks for replying ...There's a schematic at the bottom of the link i posted,what i'm hoping is i can connect GND to X3-2 (relay common)and then put the fan between X3-3 (relay n/o) and the +12V(or put the fan between GND & X3-2, and connect X3-3 to +12V ) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
