for the 3v led chaser by audioguru using
1 IC1 CD74HC14N or SN74HC14N    High-speed Cmos, Schmitt-trigger hex inverters
1 IC2 CD74HC4017N or SN74HC4017N    High-speed Cmos, decade counter-decoder
and other resistors,capacitors and a transistor
What is the purpose of each resistors,capacitors and the transistor in this project
i would like to know the function and pupose of each resisitors,capacitors and the transistor in this model

Have you read audioguru's detailed explanation of how the circuit works?

You need to go to school and learn about basic electronic circuits like are used in my project.
Then you will know what each resistor, each capacitor and the transistor is for.
I don't think anybody here is going to spend a couple of years teaching the basics to you.
