Hello,

I followed the instructions on the site about recelling a lithium ion battery pack but unfortunately it didn't work out quite right.

I have a 6 cell battery pack from my gateway which I recelled when I put the battery back in the laptop it ran the laptop but it wouldn't charge when I plugged it in. So I ran it down hoping that it may charge once the voltage dropped, I was wrong.  I don't really know where to go from here. Here is some of the info from about the battery that may be helpful.

Thanks for the reply, I wish I knew this before I would of soldered a set of cells to the board before replacing the old cells. I guess you have to make mistakes to learn.

How could you reset the battery management system?
