Applying silicon glue on ferrite cores of a plasma tv

Recommended Posts

Hi I have a panasonic plasma tv and it has buzzing sounds from the ferrite cores of the panel.

I'm purchasing this (Loctite 5145) silicon to minimize the vibrations of the ferrite cores in order to dampen the buzzing sounds.

Would there be any problem or risk when applying the Loctite 5145 electronics grade silicon on the copper coils? (The copper coils already seem to have a little bit of silver paste that looks like arctic silver compound for cpus)
If not, what compound would you recommend? Any suggestions are welcome. Thank you.

I have specs on the Loctite 5145 attached and a picture of the ferrite cores on my panel.
