Guest eleven Posted June 5, 2013 Report Share Posted June 5, 2013 Every device connected to the public Internet is assigned a unique number known as an Internet Protocol (IP) addressOpen the control panel, open Network Connections, right-click the "Local Area Connection" (unless you've renamed it to something else) and chose "Properties", then (in the "general" tab) select "Internet Protocol(TCP/IP)" and click the "Properties" button.
