Guest diodaone
Hi everyone. IM SORRY FOR MY BAD ENGLISH I HOPE YOU WILL UNDERSTAND ME ;DIm working to build a sawdust burner for home central heating.I need to control speed of air supllying fan with PWM signal that comes from PLC output.i need help to build driver for fan motor, shematics, circuits, instructions anything.PWM signal : 24V 500Hz duty cycle from 30% to 100%Motor: 12V DC 10A brushead motor If is possible, i want to isolate PLC output with optocoupler. Hero999
What's the maximum current output from the PLC output? How about simply changing the fan for a 24V version? It seems silly to have another 12V power supply for the motor.A solid state relay may work but you need one with a fast turn on/off time <0.25ms. Guest diodaone
I already have power supply for 12V motor. If I replace fan, I must also change power supply.Max current from PLC output is 1A.
Guest remonx6
why u used PWM(Pulse width Modulation ) PLC(Programmable logic controller). i think it will work in MATLAB program. and DC supply ??? ??? ??? Thanks
