audioguru Posted April 27, 2019 Report Posted April 27, 2019 You have 12V, not plus 12V and minus 12V which is 24V. What you label as -12V is actually 0V. An ordinary older type of Lithium Ion cell is 4.20V when fully charged so your charger should have an output up to 12.6V, not 12.0V. The charger circuit should have wires connected between the series batteries so that it makes it a balanced charger. Quote
HarryA Posted April 27, 2019 Report Posted April 27, 2019 BMS 18650 chargers are quite inexpensive off Ebay if you are not big on rolling your own. https://www.ebay.com/itm/3S-20A-12-6V-Li-ion-Lithium-18650-Battery-Cell-Circuit-BMS-Protection-PCB-Board/122183528602?_trkparms=aid%3D555018%26algo%3DPL.SIM%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D56826%26meid%3D93e40678e3dd4abe9ac93405e5253fca%26pid%3D100005%26rk%3D5%26rkt%3D12%26sd%3D253289010740%26itm%3D122183528602&_trksid=p2047675.c100005.m1851 Quote
admin Posted May 2, 2019 Report Posted May 2, 2019 This is the basic connection of BMS charger circuit. Do you need the scheme for the charger it self maybe? gztoppower 1 Quote
