Audio Software

Tube CAD

Tube CAD helps you design tube audio gear by doing the hard math for you. This program covers 13 types of tube circuits, each one divided into four variations: 52 circuits in all. The metaphor used is that of a notebook with 13 pages--one for each circuit type. Clicking on the tabs at the bottom of the program brings up that circuit page. Tube CAD calculates the noteworthy results, such as gain, phase, output impedance, low frequency cutoff, PSRR, bias voltage, plate and load resistor heat dissipation, and needed power supply wattage capability. The software costs $9.95.

Boxplot Speaker Design Tool

First of all, the program Boxplot Speaker Design Tool will be useful to professional acoustic system developers, radio amateurs who deal with car audio devices, and simple enthusiasts who prefer high-quality audio equipment. Using this application, it is possible to calculate both closed and open speakers, active and passive separation filters (up to the fourth order inclusive) for two- and three-way sound systems, phase inverter speakers, multilink and isobaric speakers with series and parallel connection of speakers, attenuators tweeters, Bush compensators and Zobel RC chains.

One of the most convenient and "clever" software systems for conducting audio measurements and setting up audio systems. Using audioTester, you can measure audio equipment distortions and loudspeaker cross-connections, compensate for the zero offset of the audio card's ADC, calibrate the level, correct measurement results with special “weighting” amplitude-frequency characteristics, as well as “reverse correction” specified by text files.

Sample champion

“Sample Champion is an accurate and easy to use audio measurement software. It has been designed for acoustical technicians, sound engineers, scientists and students.

Tone Stack Calculator

Software focused on the development and modification of various versions of timbres of modern guitar amplifiers. Tone Stack Calculator is extremely simple and first of all it will come in handy for amateurs involved in the improvement of audio equipment, repairmen and students. The program in question is a primitive designer for constructing timbres of various amplifiers with the required sensitivity values, as well as for transforming standard circuits into available parts.
