You've just confirmed what I found about a minute ago in a video. According to the data sheet, the resistor I pointed to in my attachment goes to the charge current monitor pin of the 4056. So if I put the probe on that using ch-2 I can also monitor the current.
I just want to get as much info...
I recently purchased an oscilloscope and have been watching video tutorials on using them. I used one when I was in school 40+ years ago. So I'm playing catchup as I'd like to get into it again.
Recently I built a few lithium chargers using TP4056 modules which I power off of an Anker...
Yes, there was a small circuit board but it apparently was fried somehow so I couldn't get a reading off of it. I tried your suggestion using a 200 ohm pot I had in spare parts, setting bench supply at 3.6v and slowly decreased the resistance.
To make along story short the led was cool to the...
Unfortunately no. The solar light was bought off of qvc. Tried looking up manufacturer for spec to no avail. The Led still lights when hooked to my bench supply at 3.6v but I don't push the ma too high as I don't want to fry it and connecting it directly to the batteries it came with is super...
I used to build circuits when I was young but life changes and I got into computers and Photoshop as a career.
I've been watching and reading tutorials on the basics to try and catch up. However I've come across a puzzle that I can't solve. I have a high power LED from a solar flood light and...
Right now I'm just messing around. I've fixed over a dozen outdoor solar lights for neighbors. Figured on making charger that I can slap 3 or 10 cells into and hook it to my bench supply for charging There's a ton of video's on youtube for them. Picked up 20 TP4096 for free.
I thought of just...
I used to know all of this stuff but haven't worked with electronics for quite a while. I've since built a few kits picked up from jameco and have fixed a few radios and printer for neighbors.
I'm looking to experiment with a TP4056. I'd like to solder stiff leads to it so I can drop it into a...
Thanks guys. Unfortunately I live about 100 miles from any decent electronics store. Usually end up getting stuff from Amazon which is where I got the ones I have now.
This may sound strange but I'm looking for some alligator clip test leads. I've bought two sets and one was impossible to use as the covers slipped and had to use pliers to open. the others were too hard to open. Could someone suggest a good set and where to get them. Thank you.
I was wondering if there is an already assembled PIR device I can hook into an outdoor solar LED flood light. The floodlight comes on at night and I would like it to only turn on when it detects movement. I've seen these PIR detectors in the stores for sale and wondered if it would be possible...
Sorry it's been so long but I did get the job done after a bit of research. Infra read was the way to go. I have the whole apartment surrounded using small prisms along with 4 wireless cameras to capture whatever triggers it. Working on an interface now for a text alert using an old prepaid...
Am not sure I'm in the right place but here goes. I'm trying to find a place I can order the equipment to set up a simple but effective laser fence.
I'd rather buy it, "laser and receiver," already assembled to protect a screened in porch from intrusion, and than place small mirrors to...
Hi, My name is steve. I used to build all sorts of things when I was young including my first computer, stereo, shortwave receiver. Unfortunately I haven't kept up with it and came here for some advice which I'll save for another post
