    5013 - Component identification

Hello welcome to electronics-lab. :)5013 DC to DC Buck converter. Thermally enhanced small-outline integrated circuit (often called PowerPAD™ or HSOIC-8/DDA).Pins: 8 leads arranged in two rows of four with a flat metal pad underneath.

Suitable replacement for a large Siemens capacitor in an old IBM XT power supply

The printed nominal capacitance value, is not the actual value capacitance and will vary depending on circuit frequency. As long as you’re working voltage (WV)is the same or more than the original specifications. You have nothing to worry about you are well within tolerance.

    Found problem in Kenwood KR-V95R

Replace with two 6800 microfarad capacitors connected in series which will cut the capacitance value in half and will equal 3400uf.

high voltage electrolytica capacitor vs oil filled

All caps & BOLD means you’re yelling… Disrespectful when you are addressing the @AnalogKid. An analogy would be when playing poker, (five cards stud) and you’re holding aces and eights. Which is, of course…“the dead man’s hand.”

    Television reception antennas farce...

TV reception antennas are nominally designed for either 75-ohm unbalanced or 300-ohm balanced standard impedances. An antenna’s impedance plot demonstrates how its input resistance and reactance vary wildly across different frequencies. While exact numbers vary by element length, all standard...

Ultra-Low Power and Long-Range Design of LoRa Modules

Sure if you wanna blinking LED Several kilometers away! Do you have a question? Data rates are often in the hundreds of bits per second because of the small data packets transmitted asynchronously, latency is to be expected due to limited network capacity transmitted on unlicensed bands...
