30VDC fade on - fade off dimmer.

shrtnd, All this stuff is made in China. Difficult to really get any technical help. I did email them however and actually got a response but all they did was give me a link to the 12-24v unit on Amazon.

30VDC fade on - fade off dimmer.

We are remodeling our home and I have decided to make it a 100% LED operation. I have installed "under the counter" 12 VDC LED light strips in the kitchen, triggered by a motion detector and incorporated an "Oznium" "Fade in - Fade out" dimmer. Works great. Now I want to include a large (18" x...

I want to modify the headphone jack on my A/V reciever...

Gryd3, Thanks for the reply and advice. In the event, it was much simpler than I thought it might be after I took my first look at the board (see attachment). I realized that all I really needed to do was determine what the (5) pins that 'come' from the socket are for. It was easy enough to...

I want to modify the headphone jack on my A/V reciever...

I have recently configured my entertainment center with wired headphones plugged into a (wired) remote amplifier with separate volume controls. It plugs in to my Denon A/V receiver. Everything works great except when we want to listen to the surround speakers system we have to get up, go over...

Need help on relocation a switch and LED

Steve, Thanks for the tip. Worked out just like you said. I have done a little bit of this kind of soldering before but never any desoldering. Being a bit ham fisted with these more delicate operations I didn't have a lot of confidence I could do it. Was easier than I thought. On to the next step!

Need help on relocation a switch and LED

I am firing up a little project that requires the relocation of a red-blue-green LED and a slide switch. The slide switch as shown (upper two images) is actually 3 positions but functionally only the left and right positions are used. (I don't know why the mfgr used a 3 position switch). I...

    solar tracker mod

Well, I am not sure why I didn't get even one response but I did solve the problem... Rather than include a switch to manually drive the system (east or west) I found that the "sun threshold voltage divider" 9.1k resistor is what determines the sensor sensitivity. So I played around with...

    solar tracker mod

Hello, I just registered and this is my first post. I have recently embarked on a project to mfgr a portable solar tracker to use when we go camping. I purchased and assembled an MTM solar tracker board and basically have everything working (in its "test" form). Witness this post... I am just...
