That helped thank you so much I misunderstood the wiring schematic from Finder when originally wiring and with what you said that worked with getting it working on the timer. Now that it is working I can spend the fun time of testing and getting it set to the right time.

Sorry forgot to include that. I am using a Quarton VLM-520-72-LPO this laser has a 2 wire input as the power delivery is taken care of inside the housing. I include the spec sheet for the laser. I have everything on the 12VDC side of the system as I am converting 120VAC to 12VDC...
