Ok I will do this. Is there a topic title on something like youtube that I can learn to open the case correctly? Do I just use one of those plastic mini-pry bar tools. I have used those to replace the battery in an old Zune...but never something like this.

I have 3 older Sangean portable radios that have had the volume control wheel wear out and I am wondering if these parts can be replaced by a novice. Is it a rheostat type wheel control?
