could you please explain why do we need C2 in series with resistor R4?
how is that capacitor effecting the rest of the circuit?
by increasing the value of C4 , will we increase the circuit speed or decrease it
thank you very much sir
i did made the project work and its doing whatever its supposed to do , moving the LED's along with the music.
just one question . for the extended circuit, we have transistors that make up a 10 mA current source. how is that 10mA helping us in lighting the strips.

Hello audioguru,
I am naveed's team partner. Thank you for helping us with
the dancing LEDS.
We are at a point where, we really need to get some
specific information related to this circuit(Dancing LEDS).
Some thoughts i had for the specification are:
1)what can we predict about the...
in the project fading LED's under motor, light and power control, R5 is it a 2 Mohm resistor or 22 Mohm. also R1 and R2 are 47 K right.
The values of C1 and C2 , are they nano farod or micro farad.
the units are not clearly shown.
that is why i am asking you
thank you
if you look at the extended circuit, there is a R9 terminal and a terminal at the top with a (+) sign beside it. where will we connect those terminal in the original circuit.
i wish to extend the circuit but can not understand where to connect the terminals of the extented circuit. could you please let me know.
once again , my project is Dancing LED's
i builded the circuit and everything but when i tested it, i didnt work. no matter how high the volume is ( or low) the LED's wont move. also i changed the distance of the microphone from the radio but still same results. i then tested the circuit with a square wave having 0.1 [v] ampliude and...
in the project (dancing LED's) , C5 is 25V electrolytic capacitor. what does that 25V specify.
also , if i use a 100uF 50V electrolytic capacitor instead of 100uF 25V electrolytic capacitor, will that be ok to use.
thank you.
i just have a few things to clearify.
the gain mentioned in the project ( dancing led's ) is 100. i am assuming the gain mentioned is the maximum gain.
and also is it a voltage gain or a signal gain ?
im assuming its a voltage gain
thank you
since im using this circuit inside an electronics lab, im going to use 741 op amp powerig it up with 15 volts and powering the counter with 9 v . i also tested my circuit in pspice and it amplified the input signal 100 times at the output. now i tested the circuit again by removing R1 , R2 and...
