  1. Sensors block

    Sensors block

Hi all, This is an H202/humidity/temperature sensors block I have designed. All componants are located inside the block cavities and are protected from the gas. The PVC block CAO was done with my PCB CAD package by stacking 5 various width PCB exported in STEP format. The board also contains...

Why does longer probe cable reduces bandwidth

It's due to the cable capacitance who is proportional to the length. nice info here: http://circuitslab.case.edu/manuals/Probe_Fundamentals-_Tektronix.pdf

PCB Troubleshooting Help - I/O Board for DDR

It's OK to set the multimeter in ohms position if you lack the diode test one. The 74HC14 outputs as to be tested with the board powered and with the multimeter in DC position (10 volts or higher) . Sorry to don't mention that before. The pinout of the 74HC14 is visible here...

    List of EDA packages

Hello Kris! Thanks for adding EDA's to the list. Please find two more here under (to compensate for the two unvalidated ones :)) http://www.bartels.de/bae/bae_en.htm http://www.expresspcb.com/ Olivier

    Resistor & Capacitor Identification

The first one is a 1500 pF safety capacitor The second one is a 2200 pF safety capacitor The third one is (probably) a 27.5Ω resistor. Probably because the fifth black band is no standard. Do you check it with a multimeter? i am almost ready to work at Maplin store ;)

PCB Troubleshooting Help - I/O Board for DDR

The transistors are labeled 2SD2352 on the board but (2S)D2461 are (vertically) mounted on it, so you test it right.

PCB Troubleshooting Help - I/O Board for DDR

You can have a look at the 74HC14 output (with a multimeter) , pin 2,4,6,8,10 &12 then after the ZJS5101 filters. But if all the outputs of the arrow are out a better bet can be the (2S)D2461 transistor. Being "multi channel" I suggest to use a multimeter in diode test position and to compare...

    SPI freezes

No idea about you code, I don't have C programming skills. However google a bit for "nrf24l01 avr studio" working codes will pop's up. Also if it's your first SPI code get a free sample of a SPI DAC or digital potentiometer so you can "debug with a multimeter" !

    Boost converter current calculation

14.8 for a 12V motor will probably not be a problem, but yes if you have a driver board you can adapt the duty cycle accordingly. Whta's your battery capacity?
