    i've seen too many transmitter designs but rarely saw a receiver, the transmiters uses FM channels for the receiver, we need a stand alone receiver or transceiver for that matter.

    Start with the basic understanding of each section (TV) and how how it operates. That's how i started in electronics. I thought mysel by reading books and asking some technicians on difficult problems. I a machinist by trade and audio/video technician by necessity.
