    You could get tube like that from a machine shop or mill supply store reamers and drills come in tubes like that you could cut a piece of strip board the size you need you can buy it from mouser futurlec or digi-key

    As you have stated with disposable electronic products and the global economy such as it is I would think one would need to be exceptional to get ahead in the electronics field probably better just to have it as a hobby I hope I'm not being too pessimistic about this

    Electronic Stethoscope 2

    Hi Philipf I made both the stethoscopes the one with the 5 741 op-amps doesnt work at all but the stehoscope2 by Audioguru works really well. I took it to class and all the students liked it. It is much easier to listen to a heart beat than with an accoustic stethoscope
