    Give me some help pls..

    I'd use a nice chunky 200VA 15V-0-15V transformer, a 5A bridge rectifier, two monster 10,000

    Does this product make sense?

Things tend to be cheaper in bulk. Tandy was very expensive, much more so than any other supplier at the time. The hobbyist market has all but gone since electronic items became cheaper to buy ready made than build them. Fortunatly as you know there are still a few people who like building...

    Does this product make sense?

I remember Tandy (RadioShack in the UK) used to sell this kind of thing 16 years ago and it was really expensiver for what it was. Nowadays (the UK division whent bust) RadioShack only operate in the US and no longer sell that kind of thing. My advice is try to recover the money you've lost by...

Help required for transmitter / receiver

I don't see how the receiver can differentiate between the forwards and reverse signals. The h-bridge goes to Q3 so the motor will run in one direction when it's on and the other when it's off. You can buy licence free RF modules which can interface with a microcontroller to give you what you...

Connecting a 5.1 surround sound w/ sub to .mp3 player or netbook; Impossible??

I think the only solution is to make your own cable. The left and right inputs can be connected directly to the respective channel but the centre needs to be connected to both which presents a problem: if you connect both channels to it, they'll short circuit one another. The easiest way is to...

    Semi-Conductor For Traction Inverters

I can't help you, I've never worked with power electronics that bid before.

PCB for a CubeSat, one kg, one cubic decimeter demonstrative satellite

It's impossible to answer the question with 100% confidence as there's no scale on either of the images. Assuming the 8 pin SMT devices are in SOIC packages it should be possible to produce a PCB with this level of detail using the photoresist method. Indeed it's worth giving toner transfer ago.

    FM Transmitter Help

Are you measuring it by tuning your radio until you hear static which is silenced when the transmitter is turned on or are you using a power meter or oscilloscope? Sorry, I forgot that the 2N3904 does normally come in a plastic package, I confused it with the 2N2222A. Yes you're right, from...

    FM Transmitter Help

How did you measure the output? What transistors did you use? Those don't look like the 2N3904 as it has a metal package but a newer version is available in plastic.

    SC480 power amp full

I noticed this thread had been bumped, so I removed the links to  Rapid Share and uploaded the files here. Then I realised it was a spammer who'd bumped it so I deleted their post. I didn't want to have wasted my time so I bumped it anyway as it looks like a good project. Of course most people...

    resisitor value

Could it be grey, red, gold, gold, white? It isn't clear. It's probably a fairly low power resistor. Read the code as per the chart below, then bear in mind the value is most likely to be a standard E24 or E96 value or at least a round value, otherwise it's unlikely to be correct.  I'd hazard...

Ordinary carbon paper instead of TRF Green

Yes may be the acid is too strong. I use sodium bisulphate which is alkaline and I've never had that problem.

Thanks audioguru, looks like I was wrong. Some people have been busy since this subject last came up.

Ordinary carbon paper instead of TRF Green

If you sure you've cleaned the board properly it could be that you touched the toner after printing and got grease on it so it won' stick to the board.

    Using electro-plating rectifier as a low-voltage high-current power supply

The coil is not superconducting, otherwise its resistance will be zero. The power supply doesn't have a high enough voltage, at 15V the current will only be 150A into a 0.1 Ohm load.

    FM Transmitter Help

It's subjective - can you please post a photograph? You also need to shorten the excess strips. No, he doesn't have a PCB for it and neither do I. If you design one and post it, I would be grateful.

Yes, there's no point in asking the same thing over and over, it's just annoying. As a moderator, I treat it as spamming: I delete the duplicates, send them a private message or tell them in the thread and get mixos to ban the perpetrator if they keep doing it.
