    Hi Musty, There are a few things which do not add up here, first “I need a circuit cheap” is not possible at this power and to make things even worse you need sinusoidal wave = very expensive stuff!     Hi Rhonn, The parallel port has 8 bits, it have to be done with the software. You can control 8 relays directly or 127 relays by manipulating with the software.  8)

    I think even 90% efficiency is a bit optimistic. Just putting a rectifier on a transformer will be a hard one to reach 90%! 8)

    May I suggest the MAX712/713 for this purpose? It can charge 1-16 cells at up to 4C! It needs only a few external components to make an excellent charger and it’s cheap or even free if you request a sample! ;D

    Hi rfranzk, Are you sure you need DC for the job, it is much more complicated to achieve than an AC circuit? 30000A, :o can you get this from a cap which exists? We are talking ultra low ESR caps and the current must be conducted to the welding point in some way. Most caps will probably not...
