    I did a quick sum and if all the LED's were lit at once it would draw 6.4 amps! I want to use a lithium ion battery 12v along with 7809 regulators, can I do this if I use more that one regulator, each one supports 1.5 amps so if I used 5 of them, what do you recon?

    I'm going to be running the led matrix and the LM3914 with 12v should I just get a regulator for the 9v on the pre amp gain circuit if not the I assume all ground are connected, as in common ground?

    what I am struggling with is how to space the frequencies like evenly spaced between 45Hz and 16kHz or do you choose them logarithmically spaced for a tone that, nevermind did a quich search and answered my own question! cheers!!

    so might sound stupid but is logarithmic mean that the bass frequencies are further apart at the bass levels and tighter at the high pitch tones or vice versa
