Lol I wondered if you would pick this up. Shows you read what I write. :) Adam

The nano looks cool what can you do with it? What language do you use to program these thing in? Is the software free? Adam

    Questions

Jumper wire is normally solid core A variable resistor means you can change the resistance by turning an adjuster normally either a shaft or a slot that requires a small screwdriver or a proper POT adjuster tool. An NPN resistor requires a positive voltage between the base and emitter terminal...

    temperature measurement

You could if you were interested in small variations but I dont think he wants that. Any amplification will limit your FSD. Adam

Cascading dc to dc converter with H bridge

Yes I just checked and you were asked by Steve . So stop wasting my time and if you want anymore help then listen and do as you are told. Your circuit is not a H Bridge and god knows where you got that circuit from. You have enoyed me and by just changing your thread title did you think you...

Cascading dc to dc converter with H bridge

I have seen this circuit before. You were told to go and look at what a H bridge was I think. Adam

    temperature measurement

I dont see how an opamp is going to improve things. The limiting factor is the A to D is it not? Adam

Is this layout good for a DC-DC converter?

Any noisy and sensative traces should be run on seperate sides of the PCB at 90 degrees to each other. Adam

Cascading dc to dc converter with H bridge

Show us the whole circuit diagram. We can't answer you without seeing it. Adam

how to find resistor value ?

Oh dear I thought it couldn't get any worse :) Time for me to go Ohm I have spent log enough on here :)

Cascading dc to dc converter with H bridge

Is the DC boost convertor suppose to power up the H-Bridge? If so then just connect the output of the DC to DC to the positive supply rail of the H-Bridge. What is the H-Bridge doing, you haven't said or is it secret MI5 stuff? Also I can't see any feedback, you should have some to control the...

How a BJT Transistor works (base current version)

This is really good Steve. When I first started out in electronics, I used the words Not Pointing iN for the arrow head on a NPN and the other one was a PNP. Cheers Adam

    Two inputs simultaneously

You could use an AND gate on the output. You can use a logic gate or make it from a two transistors. Do you really need two LEDs? One LED will tell you the output is on. Adam

Cascading dc to dc converter with H bridge

And can you answer the other question and post a schematic? Adam

    Two inputs simultaneously

Um and what is the device you are using? Might be helpful to know that first. Adam

Cascading dc to dc converter with H bridge

What do you mean cascade them? Do you mean connect them together? Can you tell us a bit more about your circuit and what it does. Post the schematics you have here also. Adam

how to find resistor value ?

Use the colour chart Harald has supplied, it's really easy. Or tell us the colours. Take a close up picture or them just to be sure. Adam

    temperature measurement

I thought the bridge was used to linearize the NTC as their output is exponential. You can also form a voltage divider as Bob has said and place the NTC across one of the resistors. This will also help to linearize the output when the correct values have been chosen. Thanks Adam
