    But if the solar cells are 100mA you need to have a circuit that uses the available current. You just need a diode and connect the solar panel directly across the 2x AAA cells. Take them off after a days sunlight.

    There is no problem in joining the two generators and you don't need any capacitors. In fact if they are out of sync it is simply equal to 100Hz input and that is exactly what you want as each generator will be delivering to the load.
