we had a power outtage a few days ago and now my dvd/vcr is dead. it wasn't a surge because everything that was plugged in is fine. it's a sony slv-d300p. i've checked several sites with manuals and such to no avail. the fuse inside is fine as well as the powercord. there's power going to it...
