I have a Solomon SL- 30 soldering station.
Soldering iron works fine.
DIN Plug is inop.
It was given to me as a present - unknown age.
It worked as long as I shimmed the plug or inserted it a certain way.
I took the station apart several times - could not see any user serviceable parts...
