ActiveWire vs. LabJack?

Can anyone advise regarding the pro's and con's of these two USB DAQ's
and their respective software?

Although LabJack is almost twice the price, they both seem to be the
most cost-effective options currently available.

I am thinking of specs and functionality, what one is better at doing
than the other, as opposed to packaging, documentation, etc.

Better yet, some firsthand experience.

Confused student.

Haven't tried ActiveWire. I use my LabJack pretty often and have always had
good results, although I have not really tried pushing its limits.
Mfg-provided software is a bit clunky, but it's not hard to write your own
to call their DLL or COM interfaces.
