I have a small security camera system that is incapable of sending the signal from my shop to my residence. Can I convert the antenna to a 50 ohm marine whip, the camera will work in my shop too?

This is the shop roof in the distance, probably 300' past the building in the foreground. The receiver is too weak to get the signal. But I can put one out front, and the signal is good, but a small bit noisy. Happy Halloween!

the security camera and marine frequencies are probably far apart

But hey, as usual, you have given almost zero info for anyone to help you

Which marine band, what frequency ?
what frequency is your security cam operating on ?

Cb whip I think. I clipped a bnc connector on the little 2.4g antenna, and I get a signal from the shop, when the bnc connector is stuck in the aluminum window frame... There is a mini yagi build on you tube, but the weather antenna download on the NOAA site doesn't work... So I am skeptical.
