Citronic CD2 dual cd player

Hi folks
Does anyone have any experience with the Citronic CD2 dual player, are
they prone to some kind of lock-up?
The one I have here will accept but not play disks, none of the panel
buttons work except the tray open/close keys. the A/B repeat buttons
are continuously lit. All psu voltages appear to be present. Any clues
anyone? is there some kind of reset sequence to reinitialise the micro?
