that may not actually be the part number
RCA generally used the 1Nxxx, 2Nxxx ID as was the standard with most USA manufacturers
The part # as you have shown could be ....
1) ... a specialist part made for a particular customer
2) ... a part number used by a customer as part of their stock inventory
either way, it would be extremely difficult ( not necessarily impossibly) to find out the original type of transistor
maybe some one else may provide a lead for you

I checked the old data books that I have and could not find this part.
I checked my part stock and found a lot of these 5-digit transistors in TO-5 and TO-3 packages. But don't know what industry they were used in.
I also have a large stock of old RCA Radio and Electronics components, and they all have six-digit part numbers.
Sorry I can't help with a data sheet. I'm thinking maybe the old 5-digit numbers may have been made by RCA for mil spec applications.
I know they were used commonly in the 1960's and 70's, I just haven't been able to trace specific data on that parts numbering system.
One theory I've seen confirmed before with other manufacturers, is that early components were often
marked with the DRAWING NUMBER of the mfgr component data sheet. Which doesn't do you much
good if you can't find the data sheet. If that's the case, these 5-digit parts are also the manufacturer drawing number for that early part.
