I am a student in water management working on a R&D project. I know nothing about electronic and the equipment specialist in our company is a little bit lost...
My aim is to measure slugs velocity in slug flow (to know what it looks like:
)
We already tried and bought to laser probes (I uploaded a file with their specificity). As slugs contain millions of air bubble, it blocks the beam through transparent PVC.
But now we want to record the data. We will separate the probes with a known distance, record the data and calculate the slugs velocity in m/s.
But the question is: what do we need between the probes and the computer to record the data?
