DLN-4SE Multiprotocol Master and Slave Adapter help

I'm having trouble communicating with the DLN-4SE. I downloaded all the necessary software and got all the libraries in VSCode(C++). The most I have so far was on the instruction manual (from 2016) it said I needed the LabView development environment, so after downloading LabView, I found that it doesn't support anything from Diolan. So if you have used this technology recently I appreciate any help. Thanks!

There is no specific requirement to use LabView. The documentation advises of use with MS Windows and Linux.

If you are an developer then yes
Labview! This is why it stated "Developer Environment".
It's not proprietary there are many options but you're just an end user; does not apply.
