I have an electromyography machine that I saved from the dumpster behind a local medical office. I like to think that it was used for shock therapy but more likely muscle stimulation therapy.
For my purposes, it is an outdated, probably non-calibrated, slow (0.05 sec) four trace oscilloscope and maybe a working signal / waveform generator. It also happens to have some interesting cabinet space.
