Does anyone knows about ferrite core vendors ?

Hello, I am designing a switching power supply and I need ferrite core
for the 100KHz transformer (EE19 Type) . I was looking for it on the
web but I just found manufacturers that sell it by hundreds or
thousands. Does anyone knows some distributor who sells by units?

Farnell stock a limited selection of Ferroxcube (was Philips) and Epcos
(was Siemens) cores. In the U.K. Hawnt Electrical used to stock a
bigger range, but I've been out of the U.K. for a long time now.

I was involved in a switcher project, and the ferrite salesmen sent me
a handful of free sample cores, but that was about 10 or 15 years ago.

Have you tried Newark or Farnell or equiv.?

Elna Labs used to sell small quantities.. don't know if they still do. Only

before for some stuff.

'tis the one. Mario just has to translate the EE19 into the US system,
the numbering schemes are different. Basically go to the Fair-Rite web
site and pick the right type and size, then look if Amidon carries that
or can order it.
