second line reads HAC
I think it is a MEMS sensor of some sort, LGA package. Couldn't find it through online part search engines...
if someone knows of it, please tell. Thanks

Perhaps not ? I have 7 characters marked in total "EP5R" and "HAC" on the part; the XC9259 appears to only have 5.

Do you have a picture of the part?
How many connection points are there?
The XR9259 has 8 connection points.
It could be the other characters are a production code.
