looking for PA234, GEL234F1 or ECG717 IC's by GE, circa 1968 to 1971
I want to save them from the landfill for my synthesizer. They are crucial to the operation and unique sound of my synth. The EMS Synthi.
I would just hole onto them. I don't plan on doing anything else but keeping them for others and myself. Not doing this to make money
Ironically they probably ended up in the shittiest dirt cheap electronics. Like dictaphones. tape recorders and phonographs.
I know they made it into a silvertone Phonograph.
My question, Is there a way to do a reverse look up somewhere of the IC and have all the gear they were put into pop up? Probably wishful thinking. Or are there good places to find NOS Chips like this?
People are building replicas on PCBs but it isnt the same and if they can be saved. You only need a few to enjoy your synth for many years. It's the pitfalls of old wonderful gear. Unobtanium
