I am trying to repair my makita dc40ra charger. I checked and found sot26 smd ic with code like the image below.
I tried to search for ic name and datasheet but failed.
Hope everyone can help me identify this smd name.
Thanks.

Name Makita charger: DC40RA

Ok, I have no idea myself - assuming this is an in-house component.

The only slight hope may be that an AI search isn't just completely off when it comes to guessing. A simple search on this perplexity AI suggest "Dual MOSFET or analog IC" - see full search result <link>.

Hey kupinth,

That SOT-26 with the “B27” code could be a dual transistor or voltage regulator, depending on its spot in the circuit. If it’s near the optocoupler or PWM chip, it’s likely part of the regulation stage. Try tracing its pins and share a clearer photo of that PCB area, it’ll help narrow it down.

I have a dream. That one day, a new law are introduced, and that force every PCB manufacturers to label all basic components (like transistors, diodes, capacitors, etc) so that repairing are more viable.
At least in EU, this kind of things may or may not occur - who knows.

more likely to be read across rather than your down example

So "2B" rather than B27 :)

I've used this database in the past and it's been very helpful.
SMD marking codes database
There is only one part that it shows when searching on the 2B marking. I believe the rest of the code is a date code. Date of manufacture 1992 47th week. It shows a Ricoh R5105N401A SOT-23-6 - description Voltage detector IC 4.0V +-1%, -Reset ODO. It looks to be smaller than an SOT-23-6.
Here is a link to Mouser Electronics page for further inquiry.

Hope this helps.
