help in pic eeprom c programming

Hello. i am new here. i need assistance on eeprom programming on pic16f877a. my goal is to store a password( 6 digit) in the eeprom then it can be overwritten somehow.

I dont know what's the code for C in reading and writing in eeprom and comparing the input password to the password stored in eeprom..
