I'm an old(er) fart whom has always been intrigued working with electricity. Worked on the big stuff mostly in my career (3-phase distribution, motors, line controllers, etc...). Now that I am totally fed up with being illiterate in the application of PLC's (programmable logic controllers), I have decided to get a formal education at our local community college (EE associates degree). I also have made this decision a challenge to my kids, if I can get better grades than they do, then I am able to preach to the choir even louder!
So far, its been a great lesson for me and my family!
Anyway, looking forward to asking some amazingly obvious or amazingly ignorant questions.
