About the article “How to rebuild a Li-Ion battery pack”. My question is, can I use another type of cells with different voltage and mAH for a Acer Travelmate 520TE battery, to put just and example , since we have some notebooks?

Also and last question, do any of you have any other tutorial on how to rebuild other models of laptops batteries?

Hi Joao,

You should not use different cell voltages or types; this will jeopardize both the computer and the charge circuit! The tutorial will to some degree apply to many different batterys since the techniques are similar.

You just might to need to reset your batterypack serial eeprom with some tools found from web. i don't want just right now try searching for your battery, but it seems to be easy to locate your default code for particulate memory
