Ok, I'm trying to put together a battery pack for a camera rig I'm working on.

I have a few scavenged battery packs that could be worth using. But it's been a couple decades since I really dug into anything like this.

How would I test this and what readings should I be looking for? If this is not good, I have a handful of new 18650s that would probably be easier. But I have a couple of these old packs lying around and figured, why not try.

“I have a Fluke and I'm not afraid to use it”

Was that a threat? Or were you just really anxious to use your fluke?
Because I have a Simpson 260-8XPI Analog Multimeter with the fastest probes in the west….
Take your fluke, set it on DC.
Measure across two pins of your four pin connector black & red, i’m expecting to see a voltage between 10.8vdc & 12.6vdc because I think you have a 3S battery pack with what looks like a battery balancer or battery equalization board. The battery balancer is meant to use in parallel with a BMS.
The battery equalizer can test the voltage difference between battery strings & the one low voltage lithium ion cell will be increased to within a certain percentage of the others cells to achieve voltage balance.
This is not a BMS or Battery Management System, this plugs into a BMS. but I could be wrong; fire up that fluke….

What are the power requirements for your camera?voltage, current?
Make, model please…
