If the distance between -infinity & +infinity is infinity, then the distance between 0 & +infinity is also infinity.
So discard all negative numbers. Zero is no longer the centre of the number line. There is no centre-value from 0 to +infinity, because there is no 1/2 infinity.
So ONE becomes the centre value. All values less than ONE are the inverse of integers. All values larger than ONE are integers.
Since no infinite decimal such as PI can be fully defined, only POSATIVE INTEGERS are used in this new numbering system.
Doing away with imaginary numbers.

Zero becomes the new 'inverse' infinity. +infinity is still +infinity. The two end points on our new number line.
Do away with infinitely recurring decimals. Do away with negative numbers. A new NUMBER SYSTEM that will transform maths into the simple language that we should understand !

What will replace or represent the values expressed by negative, irrational, and duplex (imaginary) numbers?

Spose the thought process required for the answer to that will be infinite!

Maybe this is the type of math that can get the 99% into the 1%?

Mathematically speaking, there are the same number of positive integers as there are positive and negative integers combined (it's the smallest infinity). So removing the negative ones is nothing (I'd be tempted to say you remove less than nothing).

And @Ratch, just think, without those pesky negative, irrational, and complex numbers, math is going to get really easy. Perhaps the next step is to get rid of fractions, and with it that pesky division operator! Perhaps we could declare a "highest positive internet"? 640 should do;; it should be enough for anyone!

How do you assume -infinity can even exist? given that '0' can be 'anywhere' on the -infinity to +infinity line?

All numbers are positive anyway (multiply any -infinity number by itself)......

u r on the right track!
fractions are simply 2 integers which can be represented by ONE integer
(technically, there are infinitely many numbers with or without 0 to -infinity)

I thought the binary number system already did that. Just two symbols, "0" and "1" to remember and manipulate. So simple even a computer can do it. No AI necessary.
