Hi, i wanna know why induction cooker need ferromagnetic pan? i kwow that we can heat every metal or conductor with an induction coil heater because we can create a current inside thank you!!

Most industrial induction coil heaters will heat most anything conductive, but for efficiency a ferromagnetic susceptor is used to take advantage of the losses caused by magnetic hysteresis, a stronger mechanism than simple Joule heating caused by eddy currents induced in a conductor placed in an alternating magnetic field. Indirect heating is often used by enclosing the object to be heated in a nickel cylinder, the heat of the (usually) incandescent cylinder being transferred to the object inside mainly by infrared radiation.
