$10,000,000 deposited into my untraceable swiss bank account. Your design
will be delivered by a large alsatian within 72 hours; he'll say "Woof" and
you will reply "The fat man walks in the moonlight". You will never attempt
to contact me again.

one of the US's most feared enemys' territory, Cuba.

Could you elucidate?

Simple. It is so they can release all the terrorist into Cuba if
Castro acts up. Then Castro will have to deal with that problem,
instead of what was planned. The other reason is that if they escape,
they can't just walk a few miles to rejoin their allies.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guantanamo_bay

"The United States assumed territorial control over Guant?namo Bay under
the 1903 Cuban-American Treaty, which granted the United States a
perpetual lease of the area."

The Cubans think the treaty has been invalidated, but the US disagrees
and as they've got the biggest toys...

The USA sends Castro a rent check (cheque) for Guantanamo each
accounting period, but Castro refuses to cash them (so he says).

Cuba: No habeus corpus, but a workable health system

Googling "cuba medical" produces a range of opinions on that.

BTW, posted from the UK, so your ride may not be to Gitmo. Just hope
you don't get sent to a black site.

$10,000,000.00, plus parts.

I believe that's enough cash to leave the country before the FCC and
Homeland Security come to get me.

Cheers!

He slapped the McCarthy-ites in the face; when they would not continue to
give him enough foreign aid to maintain his dictatorship, he went shopping
to the other super power. ^H^H^H, (only slightly over simplified).

Which is the same story as Ho Chi Minh. The US has a long history of
converting its friends into its enemies.
