This is a tool that I have in my toolbox at work. However, the for smallest wire ferrules (21 AWG / 0,25mm² and smaller), the crimp just doesn't give enough force to make the ferrule tight, so it slips - even if the wire size is a perfect match to the ferrule. I have a colleague that have a different version of Knipex crimp tool (feeding from the side instead of front) and using the very same wire and ferrule without having this issue.
I've already contacted Knipex locally because I suspect the tool need to be re-calibrated.

The only reason I wrote this post is if anybody have some knowledge about if it is possible to do the calibration yourself? Or possible can share any relevant experience with this tool if encountered similar issues.

Btw - it works perfectly for 0.75m² (19 awg) and larger.
