Who would want to fix a matsui!!! I would :-( !
It belongs to my daughter n she loves it!
The p.s.u. seems a simple enough pcb but a schema or anything could help!!
Everything on the 240v side of the board seems happy but nothing on the far
side
of the txformer.
Any help would be *greatly* appreciated! The no. on the board is 368 94V 0A
as far as i can tell--the eyes aren`t what they used to be!!

Thanks for the reply. I could have been more explicit --apologies!
The beast is totally dead, and I suspect the psu. pcb. As I said the mains
side of the psu pcb shows no problems --lo-power choke, discrete diode
bridge, fuse and transient suppressor all seem happy. There is what `looks`
like a opto isolator crossing the line to the isolated end of the board and
a txformer.I am unable to give any voltages at the lo volt side, as I said
there is nothing to measure on the far side of the txformer. I do have
access to discrete electronic spares, and I suppose a replacement psu is the
easy answer, but I have very little practical experience in the brown goods
side of the market, being involved in industrial controls, plc`s etc. So
sourcing it could be problematic for me. My main enquiry was to source a
schema for this pcb if possible. The last time I attacked a T.V or the like
in anger would be some twenty years since!!! Once again thanks for the
courtesy of a reply and I certainly will access the FAQ for this NG.
(Incidentally I did find a site www.service-manuals.net but it seems to be
under construction.)
Regards. Mike.
