Well, you have the image from your scope, does the multimeter produce an accurate reading?

i see what you mean, but they may be the same and both be wrong.....it amazes me that the datasheet doesnt state the accuracy.

I would have thought X +/-Y% is a good old way for them to state it for each range, but they never do.

If you get results that are very similar, then it is likely that both are accurate. It's unusual that two very different devices have the same inaccuracy.

In any case, the waveform looks fairly close to a sin wave. This should allow you to calculate RMS values to provide a third estimate.
